There is clearly a sound historical foundation and Biblical understanding in the writing that leaves the reader with the truth of the thesis, that Torah is for today, but leaves room for the reader to go and discover more truth while giving their search direction. The writing strikes an excellent balance, finding a middle tone between a devotional and a sound apologetic. That in itself is rare.
