“The problem facing the Christian Church is not that people lack a complete set of beliefs; the problem is that they have a full slate of beliefs in mind, which they think are consistent with biblical teachings, and they are neither open to being proven wrong nor to learning new insights. Our research suggests that this challenge initially emerges in the late adolescent or early teenage years. By the time most Americans reach the age of 13 or 14, they think they pretty much know everything of value the Bible has to teach and they are no longer interested in learning more scriptural content."

What is the New Covenant?
Most answer something like, "Jesus died on the cross for me. His blood covers my sin." Actually, you could call this "Part B" of the New Covenant.
Only one passage in the Tenach/Old Testament defines the New Covenant, and this same passage is quoted in the New Testament!
"Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah...I will put My תורה in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts..." Jerermiah 31.31-34, Hebrews 8.8-12
תורה in Israel's heart is "Part A" of the New Covenant. The passage goes on to add forgiving wickedness and remembering sin no more, "Part B", usually the only part of the New Covenant you hear in Church. Why be satisfied with half?
ישוע Yeshua Jesus expects us to live תורה,
Matthew 5.17-20, in fact He strengthens it.
Christians have ישוע but not תורה.
Jews have תורה but not ישוע.
The first one to humble himself and learn from the other...wins!
Our atonement in ישוע is based on Passover. In Passover, ישראל is saved from a world power to build a nation that bears fruit, Isaiah 5.1-7.
ישוע our Passover Lamb frees us from Satan and the fear of death, Hebrews 2.14-15, so that we will bear fruit, Matthew 7.15-20.

שלחן shulchan table is made of two words, של shul of/place and חן chan/chen grace. שלחן is a place of grace to build relationships. שלחן is where we stop rushing through life and listen to each other. Let's learn תורה and grow together.
A pure heart, that's what I long for
A heart that follows hard after You
A heart that hides Your Word
so that sin will not come in
A heart that’s undivided
but one You rule and reign
A heart that beats compassion
that pleases You my Lord
A sweet aroma of worship
that rises to Your throne

The Law of the Lord is perfect
converting the soul
The Testimony of the Lord is sure
making wise the simple
Chorus: More to be desired are they
than gold yea than much fine gold
Sweeter also than honey
and the honeycomb
The Statutes of the Lord are right
rejoicing the heart
The Commandments of the Lord are pure
enlightening the eyes
The Fear of the Lord is clean
enduring forever
The Judgments of the Lord are true
and righteous altogether
